We're looking for a Studio Manager who takes full ownership โ€” not someone who just clocks in and out. You will be responsible for making sure the business runs smoothly, clients are consistently happy, and the team performs at a high level.

What You'll Own

Your Responsibilities

Daily Operations
  • Open and close the studio on time
  • Keep all appointments running on schedule
  • Manage walk-ins, calls, and booking flow
  • Solve real-time issues as they arise
  • Provide braiding services

Team Management
  • Lead hiring and interviews process
  • Supervise braiders during every shift
  • Enforce punctuality and dress standards
  • Address lateness and call-outs immediately
  • Coordinate scheduling and coverage

Client Experience
  • 5-second greeting standard for every client
  • Monitor service quality and timing
  • Handle complaints professionally
  • Maintain a clean, premium studio environment

Performance & Accountability
  • Track daily appointments, revenue, output
  • Enforce speed and quality standards
  • Support upsells and rebookings
  • Weekly performance reports to owner
  • Review and submit employee timesheets

Systems & Communication
  • Manage Acuity, Calendly & scheduling tools
  • Coordinate via WhatsApp team group
  • Keep operations aligned with company SOPs
  • Help implement and improve systems

Courses & Phone Inquiries
  • Confirm students, prep training area
  • Support instructor during each session
  • Reset and organize space after sessions
  • Answer all calls and messages promptly
  • 100% response rate on all leads

What We're Looking For

Requirements &
Compensation

  • 2+ years in management, operations, or team leadership
  • Experience in beauty, salon, or service-based business (preferred)
  • Available to work weekends โ€” our busiest and most important days
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable using scheduling tools and basic tech systems
  • Bilingual: Spanish & English (required, not optional)

Compensation

$20/hr
Starting Hourly Rate
